“Social media is a big part of our marketing strategy.”
Let’s talk about social media. You have 1.3 million likes on TikTok. How does social media play into your strategy?
[16:52] It’s a big part of our strategy. Although most of our clients still say they come from Google. So it is not the majority, but you know what? It’s how people get to know me. And so when people are contacting the firm, they’ve already decided. They already know what they’re getting. They already know what the firm offers. And that is a massive advantage that you get in social media that you can’t get from your website.
Why is social media worth your time? Is it because your prospects are coming pre-sold? They know, like, and trust you?
[17:41] We have a Facebook group that is almost 20,000 people. What we’ve done with our marketing is we’ve tried to create an ecosystem that feeds itself, where we’re creating not just clients, but also fans and referrals. We invest heavily in content that is specific to what our audience cares about.
How are you coming up with those topics?
[18:14] I let them do it for me. I go to my Facebook group of 20,000 people and look to see which questions are getting more than 100 comments. And only if they have more than a hundred comments do I make a video about it. And these are not the topics that I find most interesting or that are most legally relevant. They’re not, but they are what my audience cares about. And so that is the content I make.
Can you give us some examples of some particularly popular topics?
[18:49] A lot of stepmom stuff. High drama. High drama is what people really want to talk about. But they also like that I had this one consultation where this client had brought to me this ruling on parental alienation. I’d never seen anything like it. And she gave me permission to share it. I did a video about that. And it is one of the most liked and viewed videos. So I’ll make content about anything that I and others find interesting. Then I use the feedback that I get from what works.
Smart. How did you launch and grow this Facebook group and what is your role in it now?
[19:40] It took a long time to get to a thousand. I don’t know why it took so long. We have a half a million followers on our Facebook page. It gets so many views. If people inquire, “How do I ask a question?” I tell them to do it through the support group.
That’s smart. And it’s even just the name of the group, right? The support group. It’s a resource. It’s a safe place.
[20:35] It’s a resource. The other thing we’ve done is recruited moderators from inside the group that are not employed by the firm.
You’re really successful on Facebook, on TikTok, and you’re on Instagram. What is your preferred platform?
[21:21] TikTok is my preferred platform. It changed everything for me when I started using it in 2021. And that is when I started doing short form video – Q&A’s. That is when it started getting engagement.
I had done YouTube videos that sat there and got few comments, views, and likes. TikTok changed everything because it was now a conversation. Now I had a relationship with my followers. These are my people. There was this time when I had a job description posted that the lawyer community got a hold of and didn’t like, and my name was being wrecked on social and on Twitter. I was having my first PR crisis. The issue was that I was hiring a legal assistant / nanny for one of my attorneys who had twins.
The attorney had been missing a lot of work because her twins were sick and we really needed somebody who could act as her assistant, but also help her if she needed childcare. The legal community found that offensive. They thought it was demeaning to the profession.
So I went to TikTok and asked, “Am I the asshole?” I told them about the post, what I was trying to do for my lawyer bringing in a new entry level position. My post went big and even got on the front page of Reddit. So I managed to circumvent my PR crisis with my people because I had a relationship with them on TikTok.
Method 2
Have us generate your social media leads
Our approach to obtaining qualified leads from social media provides you 4 big advantages:
1. No video shoots.
Using AI, we create a clone of your appearance and voice that is so lifelilke your family and friends will not be able to tell the difference. We then have the clone deliver engaging educational scripts that you pre-approve.
2. Audience growth.
To secure more video views and add followers, we boost the most popular of the videos we produce for you.
3. No additional ad cost.
Both the boosting for audience growth and the ads used to generate leads are paid for by us. Your monthly fee covers everything.
4. Pre-qualified phone appointments.
The leads we obtain answer 5 qualifying questions and then schedule phone appointments with your intake person.
Unlike Google ad leads who know nothing about you and likely clicked multiple ads, the leads we send to you have watched your videos, want to work with you, and have provided background information in advance.
Our done-for-you Growth Amplifier service costs $1,995/month, which includes our ad spend. You may cancel anytime after 3 months. Leads begin flowing in Month 2, and sometimes in Month 1.
